Working at RMDC
Rocky Mountain Day Camp doesn’t just hire counselors, we hire role models. Everyone on our staff loves working with children and they are also specialists in the activities they teach. It is the goal of the Rocky Mountain Day Camp team to make a positive impact on every camper, every day, every summer.
“My kids love you and look up to each of you more than you know, and I am thrilled they have such fantastic role models.”
– Julia, Camp Mom

When and where is RMDC orientation?
In order to build the cohesive community that we are known for, we first begin with our staff. All staff are required to attend a four day orientation prior to opening day of camp. This training begins the Thursday before the start of camp and is held locally.
Due to a prior plan, I cannot make one of the days of orientation, is that okay?
We do ask that you do everything in your power to attend our staff orientation. If this is not possible, we do have alternative options to get you the information you will need in order to be successful.
Am I paid for the orientation?

Staff are paid via direct deposit four times throughout the summer.
