Why Choose RMDC

My kids went to RMDC for years. My oldest for 6 years and my youngest for 4 (they are 12 and 9). It was, hands down, the best camp experience we could have hoped they would have. We moved out of state last summer and are missing the RMDC family. The counselors are THE BEST. They are all college students and really love working with kids.

I just wanted to tell everyone about my daughter’s experience at Rocky Mountain Day Camp. All I can really tell you is she loves it!!!!
Since day one, Sydnie is dressed and ready to go by 6:30am! She has played every sport, including archery, tennis, soccer, kickball, football, and so many more. She has accomplished some things that she never thought she would do, like rock climbing and going down BIG water slides. She goes to arts and crafts and learns songs that I used to sing at my day camp, when I was a kid. It is great and the best part is everyday she can’t wait to go back the next day.
The environment is safe and nurturing. The counselors are enthusiastic and warm and caring. And best of all David and Holly Hansburg are amazing. You can see everyone who works there is really happy to be there.
If your kids are home this summer and they are looking for something fun to do, I would highly recommend sending them to Rocky Mountain Day Camp. They will have so much fun. I hope you will check it out…..It is not to be missed!!!

RMDC is worth it. My kids have gone for years. The counselors are amazing. Think old fashioned day camp- sports/games/sing-offs/dance offs. One year my kids declined all other opportunities- they wanted RMDC all summer.

Camp for A. has been wonderful. I wish we had some other weeks open that we could do more sessions this year. She has been SO happy, and wants to talk non-stop about everything she did on the way home. She was telling her brother all about color war, and of course teaching him the camp song and clap.I think everything you’re doing so far is great. You have every activity I can think of! It was cool to hear that A. even tried lacrosse. The counselors in her group are so sweet. It makes me feel good when I drop her off seeing how they greet her. I can safely say that what you’ve accomplished is already a success. I have been telling everyone to check you out. We will definitely be back next year!!

I don’t have words to describe how grateful I am to you for providing my kids with the best camp experience of their lives. They talk about RMDC from the moment they wake up to the moment they go to sleep. They sing the camp song, chant the group cheer, and clap the “RMDC Clap” their loudest in the car, at the pool, and even in their beds as they drift happily off to sleep.

All over best day camp (arts, sports, team, individual creativity) HANDS DOWN, Rocky Mountain Day Camp! “I wake up in the morning and I ….” the song is awesome-you will be singing it all summer with your kids!

My favorite things about RMDC are: We have a private room for our little group. I have a small group of kids my age. We had the BEST counselors. I mean they were really fun and very nice. We did more stuff. You know, archery and the water slides. There weren’t any mean kids!”

This is not daycare! My kids love every minute of RMDC. David, Holly and all the counselors are great! We are proud to be part of the RMDC family.
