FYI - You guys ROCK and have blown away the other camp
that we went to last year....WAY to go, and keep up the amazing work!!!
Helly (Mother of Ella)
Thanks to you, Holly and staff for making three weeks of
William's summer an absolute blast! We are so pleased
with how excited he was to go to camp every day! And,
wanting to stay at the after camp was a HUGE compliment
when he could have gone home with his summer companion.
We are indeed looking forward to next summer!
Ann (Mom), Rick (Dad) and William!!!
My favorite things about RMDC are:
We have a private room for our little group. I have a small
group of kids my age. We had the BEST counselors. I mean
they were really fun and very nice. We did more stuff. You
know, archery and the water slides. There weren't any mean
“Mom, it was fun. I mean, it was funner!”
I just wanted to tell everyone about my daughter's experience
at Rocky Mountain Day Camp. All I can really tell you is she
Since day one, Sydnie is dressed and ready to go by 6:30am!
She has played every sport, including archery, tennis,
soccer, kickball, football, and so many more. She has
accomplished some things that she never thought she would
do, like rock climbing and going down BIG water slides. She
goes to arts and crafts and learns songs that I used to sing at
my day camp, when I was a kid. It is great and the best part is
everyday she can't wait to go back the next day.
The environment is safe and nurturing. The counselors are
enthusiastic and warm and caring. And best of all David and
Holly Hansburg are amazing. You can see everyone who works
there is really happy to be there.
If your kids are home this summer and they are looking for
something fun to do, I would highly recommend sending them
to Rocky Mountain Day Camp. They will have so much fun. I
hope you will check it out.....It is not to be missed!!!
Randi (Mother of Sydnie)
Jack had such a great experience for the whole session. He
loved the exposure to sports that he wasn't as familiar with like
tennis, archery and lacrosse. He loved the competitions
(green vs. white), he loved the rocketry. The water slide and
the rock wall were great. He is singing camp songs all the time
and is so proud of his spirit awards. He was eager to come to
camp every day. I love that if the weather is too hot, cold or
windy, the kids can still have fun indoors and I don't have to
worry about his comfort or safety while he is there. Jack says
his counselors, Tyler and Patrick, were a lot of fun! I will highly
recommend RMDC to friends and we will be returning campers in the future.
Sara (Mother of Jack)
Camp for Anna has been wonderful. I wish we had some other weeks open that we could do more sessions this year. She has been SO happy, and wants to talk non-stop about everything she did on the way home. She was telling her brother Reed all about color war, and of course teaching him the camp song and clap.
I think everything you're doing so far is great. You have every activity I can think of! It was cool to hear that Anna even tried lacrosse.
The counselors in her group are so sweet. It makes me feel good when I drop her off seeing how they greet her.
I can safely say that what you've accomplished is already a success. I have been telling everyone to check you out. We will definitely be back next year!!
Kelly (Mother of Anna)
I just wanted to say thanks again. Claire really enjoyed her camp experience with RMDC. She has tried multiple camps over this and last summer and RMDC is by far her favorite. (Truth be told, she hasn't much enjoyed any other camp yet.) Your counselors seem really involved and to enjoy what they do, your overall attention to detail is greatly appreciated, and the concept of instilling pride in the camp and its campers made RMDC hands-above our other experiences. For that, thank you.
I hope you enjoy the rest of your summer and we hope to see you next year.
Carol (Mother of Claire)
